The WiPry 2500x transforms your phone or tablet into a Wi-Fi spectrum analyzer (2.4 &amp; 5 GHz), making it an essential tool for IT professionals and wireless network technicians.

On the hardware side, the WiPry 2500x is slightly larger than previous versions but still compact, comparable to the size of a quarter. An additional space has been added to accommodate external charging with 4 AAA alkaline batteries, providing full functionality for newer iOS devices, including SSID's. Its key highlights include:

<li>Scan &amp; Troubleshoot WiFi</li>
<li>SSID's / RSSI</li>
<li>Cross-platform support (works with any device)</li>

On the software side, significant improvements have been made, such as:

<li>Play / Record function, helpful for capturing intermittent environmental issues</li>
<li>Enhanced Reporting Function with birth certificates to track Wi-Fi health</li>
<li>SNR / SINR automatic calculation, speeding up site evaluation</li>
<li>Combined view for the real view and waterfall, providing a history of transmissions</li>
</ul>

An advantage of these software improvements is that there is no software subscription charge. The software is free of charge and available through the user's preferred platform.

While a demo mode is available for free with the download, the purchase of an accessory is required to fully enable the product. However, even without the accessory, users can still test-drive the app with several demo waveforms (WiFi, DECT, and DSSS) that simulate signals. Check out this feature today!

As a spectrum analyzer, the WiPry 2500x allows you to scan and troubleshoot WiFi, view SSID's and RSSI on your iOS device. It offers multiple visualization techniques to view the occupied spectrum, including waterfall mode for a time-based view and various other modes for real-time spectrum observation. The WiPry 2500x is perfect for detecting open Wi-Fi channels and identifying unauthorized Wi-Fi access points.
